Ah Yes! We tend to hold our heads forward as we work, cook, write, read and especially lean over computer keyboards. As a result the pectoral muscles tend to shorten and tighten. Trigger points in these muscles are good ones to check and keep free of myofascial pain. This technique "re-educates the pectoral muscles to hold head and shoulders in proper alignment.

Position
Working one side of the body at a time, position the Relax Mat® along two or three imaginary lines across the body, holding the mat with two hands overlapped and "hugging" it into each trigger point to a 12/7 count..

Stretch
Do your favorite stretches, provided by your health care professional.

Aquatherapy
This technique can be used in aquatherapy.
